Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy and Beyond

This two-day course will feature a combination of didactic lectures, live cases, and the opportunity to round on the patients the morning following the procedures. A unique opportunity to learn alcohol septal ablation techniques step-by-step from a nationally distinguished faculty. Both HCM and Non-HCM cases will be discussed and performed.

Objectives

  • Discuss indications and patient selection for alcohol septal ablation, including newer indications (EP, Structural).
  • Understand outcomes and complications of alcohol septal ablation.
  • Discuss best practices, procedural steps, and use of contrast echo and other imaging for alcohol septal ablation.
  • Discuss post-procedural management of alcohol septal ablation patients.
